Abstract

The problem of this research is to highlight the purposeful relationship between Sharia and medicine, and their importance. This paper also aims: to find the relationship of Islamic legislation with medical science. And their importance in human life. The method used in this study is to describe and analyze the relationship between Sharia and medicine, with examples indicating that relationship. In the end: the researcher concluded that the legal medical purposes stem from the five necessities represented in self-preservation, since all the necessary purposes are related to the interests of religion and the soul, and the rest of the purposes are only a complement to them, and their uniqueness does not mean the independence of each one from the other, but rather it is an integrated legislative system that is inseparable one from the other. And that this medicine, like Sharia law, was established to achieve the interest of safety and wellness and to ward off the evils of trouble and disease. To provide the purposes of legislation in the preservation of the human race, known in their necessities as (self-preservation). And that the Islamic religion urges and encourages the learning of sciences that serve the interest of humanity.
