Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau pelaksanaan kepimpinan Strategik menerusi Kepimpinan Pengetua di Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) dan Sekolah Agama Bantuan Kerajaan (SABK) yang melaksanakan Kurikulum Bersepadu Tahfiz (KBT) di Malaysia. Kajian ini didorong oleh faktor untuk meneliti permasalahan aspek kepimpinan pengetua SMKA dan SABK dalam pelaksanaan KBT dan seterusnya cadangan penambahbaikan terhadap isu tersebut. Data diperoleh melalui kaedah tinjauan sebagai data utama dan disokong dengan data temu bual. Seramai 32 orang pengetua telah menjawab soal selidik ini. Kajian ini menstruktur kepimpinan kepada teras komponen iaitu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan tahap kepimpinan strategik dari komponen berdasarkan perspektif pengetua berada pada tahap tinggi iaitu (min 4.32). Oleh itu, kajian mengemukakan cadangan kepada pengurusan Bahagian Pengurusan Pendidikan Islam dan pihak kementerian pendidikan dari sudut kelestarian kepimpinan strategik pengetua dengan melibatkan pemerkasaan amalan pedagogi, peningkatan profesionalisme pentadbir dan guru, pemantauan secara berkala, pelaksanaan program intervensi dan penghasilan bahan inovasi pengajaran.
This study aims to review the implementation of Strategic Leadership through Principal Leadership in National Religious Secondary Schools (SMKA) and Government Aided Religious Schools (SABK) that implement the Tahfiz Integrated Curriculum (KBT) in Malaysia. This study is motivated by the factors to examine the leadership aspects of SMKA and SABK principals in the implementation of KBT and then suggest improvements to the issue. Data is obtained through survey method as primary data and supported with interview data. A total of 32 principals have answered this questionnaire. This study structures leadership into core components, namely. The results of the study show that the level of strategic leadership from the component based on the principal's perspective is at a high level (mean 4.32). Therefore, the study presents recommendations to the management of the Islamic Education Management Division and the Ministry of Education from the perspective of the sustainability of the principal's strategic leadership by involving the empowerment of pedagogical practices, increasing the professionalism of administrators and teachers, regular monitoring, the implementation of intervention programs and the production of teaching innovation materials.
