Abstract

The global storm of the COVID-19 pandemic has created a new norm in various sectors. The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector is among the sectors that are also feeling the brunt of this unexpected pandemic. The drastic online learning instruction is seen as very difficult to accept, but this new norm in the learning process should be applied to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to review the effectiveness of online teaching and learning during the covid-19 pandemic among students of the Diploma in Electronic Engineering (Control) program. A total of 160 students currently studying at the Melaka Polytechnic have been selected as respondents. The focus of this study is focused on two variables which are aspects of effectiveness and relationships among students. In measuring the effectiveness of online learning, a set of questionnaires was created and used as an instrument to make this study a success. The data obtained from this questionnaire was analyzed using IBM SPSS.
