Kajian ini dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti dan menilai pengurusan JAHEAIK dari perspektif pegawai dan kakitangannya. Hal ini kerana, kualiti pengurusan, kelengkapan fasiliti dan suasana pekerjaan merupakan elemen penting dalam memastikan kelangsungan kejayaan sesebuah institusi. Namun, masih terdapat pejabat agama jajahan menghadapi kekurangan tenaga sumber manusia dan ada juga yang terpaksa mengambil inisiatif sendiri untuk menyediakan kelengkapan fasiliti seperti capaian Internet. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kaedah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Kaedah kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen soal selidik diedarkan kepada 30 orang responden dari kalangan pegawai dan kakitangan JAHEAIK. Kaedah kualitatif dengan pelaksanaan temu bual separa struktur bersama pegawai dan kakitangan JAHEAIK serta pejabat agama jajahan bertujuan mengukuhkan lagi dapatan yang diperoleh melalui soal selidik. Data soal selidik yang diperolehi dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS). Hasil kajian mendapati perspektif pegawai dan kakitangan JAHEAIK terhadap pengurusan JAHEAIK berada pada tahap sederhana iaitu skor min = 3.11 dan sisihan piawai = 0.982. Justeru itu, beberapa ruang perlu diperkemas dan ditambahbaik dalam sistem pengurusan yang sedia ada seperti prasarana dan kemudahan pejabat. Program-program dan kursus-kursus berkaitan juga perlu dititikberatkan serta diperbanyakkan bagi menghasilkan sistem pengurusan Islam yang cekap dan melahirkan pegawai dan kakitangan yang kompeten dalam aspek pengurusan dan perkhidmatan Islam di Kelantan.
This study aims to identify and evaluate the management of JAHEAIK from the perspective of its officers and staff. This is because the quality of management, facility equipment and work atmosphere are important elements in ensuring the continued success of an institution. However, there are still colonial religious offices facing a lack of human resources and some are forced to take their own initiative to provide facilities such as Internet access. This study utilised quantitative and qualitative approach. Quantitative method using questionnaire were distributed to 30 respondents from JAHEAIK officers and staff. Qualitative method with the implementation of semi-structured interviews with JAHEAIK officials and staff as well as colonial religious officials aim to further strengthen the findings obtained through the questionnaire. The questionnaire data obtained was analysed descriptively using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS). This study finds that the perspective of JAHEAIK officers and staff towards the management of JAHEAIK is at a moderate level, which is mean score = 3.11 and standard deviation = 0.982. Therefore, some areas need to be improved in the existing management system such as infrastructure and office facilities. Related programs and courses also need to be emphasized and increased to produce an efficient Islamic management system and produce competent officers and staff in aspects of Islamic management and services in Kelantan.
