Abstract

Hafazan al-Quran telah diamalkan sejak peristiwa penurunan wahyu kali pertama. Sebagai cabang ilmu, Hifz al-Quran telah mencapai kematangannya yang tersendiri. Amalan menghafaz Al-Quran telah berkembang dari hari pertama khatib hingga sekarang. Tuntutan masyarakat terhadap program pendidikan tahfiz al-Quran amat menggalakkan dari semasa ke semasa. Senario ini menunjukkan sikap positif masyarakat Islam di Malaysia terhadap pengajaran Al-Quran sebagai penjaga jiwa daripada melakukan perkara yang bertentangan dengan amalan umat Islam. Dalam konteks pendidikan tahfiz di Malaysia, MRSM Ulul Albab merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan di peringkat menengah yang menawarkan program Ulul Albab. Program Ulul Albab telah menggabungkan sains dan tahfiz al-Quran dalam satu sistem pendidikan yang dikenali sebagai Sistem Pendidikan MRSM Ulul Albab. Para pelajar berpeluang mempelajari mata pelajaran sains dan al-Quran secara formal. Melalui program Ulul Albab, MARA telah membuka peluang pendidikan kepada bumiputera untuk mempelajari subjek sains dan agama secara serentak. Matlamat MARA adalah untuk melahirkan generasi Ulul Albab yang mempunyai kualiti Hamalatul Quran melalui aktiviti hafazan al-Quran. Walaupun aktiviti hafazan al-Quran di MRSM Ulul Albab telah dijalankan lebih sedekad, namun aktiviti hafazan al-Quran masih belum mempunyai rangka kerja yang menyeluruh. Oleh itu, kajian kualitatif dengan mengaplikasikan analisis dokumen telah dijalankan untuk mencari keseragaman tiga model hafazan al-Quran bagi mencadangkan rangka kerja hafazan al-Quran yang sesuai untuk MRSM Ulul Albab. Diharapkan dengan kajian ini dapat membantu pihak penganjur program untuk mereka bentuk suaian model hafazan al-Quran yang komprehensif untuk aktiviti hafazan al-Quran MRSM Ulul Albab.  

Quranic memorizing has been practiced since the first revelation al-Quran. As a branch of knowledge, Hifz al-Quran has reached its own maturity. The Quranic memorization practices has grown from the day first of his revalition until now. The community's demand upon tahfiz al-Quran education program is encouraging from time to time. This scenario shows the positive attitude amomg muslim community in Malaysia towards Al-Quran teaching as a soul-guarding from doing things that are contrary to the Muslim's practices. In the context of tahfiz education in Malaysia, MRSM Ulul Albab is one of the educational institutions at the secondary level that offers the Ulul Albab program. Ulul Albab program has combined science and tahfiz al-Quran in an educational system known as MRSM Ulul Albab Education System. The students have the opportunity to learn sciences subject and al-Quran in formal way. Through the Ulul Albab program, MARA has opened up educational opportunities for bumiputras to study science subjects and religion simultaneously. MARA's goal is to produce a generation of Ulul Albab who have the quality of Hamalatul Quran trough Quranic memorization activity. Although the Quranic memorization activity at MRSM Ulul Albab has been conducted for more than a decade, the Quranic memorization activity still does not have a comprehensive framework. Therefore, a qualitative study by appliying document analysis was conducted to find the uniformity of three Quranic memorization models to suggest a proper Quranic memrozation framework for MRSM Ulul Albab. It is hoped that with this study, it can help the program organizers to design a comprehensive Quranic memorization models suit to MRSM Ulul Albab quranic memorization activity.
