Kesenian Tamadun Islam dalam Warisan Seni Tradisi Melayu [Art of Islamic Civilazation in the Malay Heritage Art Tradition]

Abstract

Masyarakat Melayu terkenal dengan warisan seni yang telah diwarisi turun-temurun daripada nenek moyang mereka. Pelbagai keunikan dan keindahan corak dan seni rekaan yang menonjolkan kesenian Islam dalam kehidupan seharian mereka. Artikel ini bertujuan membincangkan konsep kesenian dalam tamadun Islam. Perbincangan juga mencakupi unsur-unsur seni dari ketamadunan Islam serta meneliti perkembangan hasil seni dari warisan Tamadun Melayu yang bercirikan kesenian Islam dalam kehidupan masyarakat Melayu. Metodologi kajian ini berbentuk kajian kepustakaan dan kajian hanya dibataskan kepada kesenian tradisi muzik Melayu. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa warisan seni tradisi Melayu mengamalkan unsur-unsur seni yang terdapat dalam ketamadunan Islam. Oleh yang demikian, masyarakat Islam, khususnya masyarakat Melayu perlu memastikan warisan seni tradisi Melayu terus berhubung dengan elemen seni Islam agar nilai kesenian berlandaskan ajaran Islam terus dihayati selaras dengan peradaban Islam.

Malay community is known for its artistic heritage that has been passed down from their ancestors. Various uniqueness and beauty of patterns and designs that highlight Islamic art in their daily lives. This article aims to discuss the concept of art in Islamic civilization. The discussion also includes elements of the art of Islamic civilization and examine the development of the art of Malay civilization heritage characterized by Islamic art in the life of the community. The methodology of this research shaped the literature review and study only restricted to traditional arts of Malay music. The study found that the heritage of Malay traditional art to practice the elements contained in the Islamic civilization. The Muslim community, especially the Malay community must ensure the artistic heritage of the Malay tradition connected with elements of Islamic art to the art based on the teachings of Islam continue to be lived in accordance with Islamic civilization.
