Abstract

Purpose: This study discusses previous studies on the issue of children's involvement in wars and armed conflicts and shows the loopholes that these studies have overlooked in terms of the position of Islamic law on protecting children, their recruitment and the foundations for their protection, in addition to explaining the gaps in international law that lead to failure to fully protect the rights of this group. And the manifestations of their exploitation in carrying out terrorist acts and armed conflicts, Study methodology: The researcher has adopted in his research the inductive analytical approach by extrapolating and analyzing previous studies regarding the issue of children’s involvement and their involvement in these conflicts in order to reach the desired results of the study. Results: This study had results. The international issue of protecting children in wars and conflicts, as well as the existence of some gaps that lead to the failure to fully protect the rights of children in wars and conflicts, Authenticity and value: The importance of this study lies in explaining the necessity to study the issue of the involvement of young people in wars and armed conflicts, since their conditions do not exceed two cases, either they are incompetent or deficient, and in both cases they have their excuse which is their incomplete eligibility or awareness. Recommendations: Perhaps from The most important recommendations reached by the researcher is the necessity of discussing the issue of the involvement of this group in wars and conflicts that they have no interest or ability to participate in.
